Founded in 1965, Novotipo began operating with only six technicians, at a time when the market was scarce and of poor quality. For several years it focussed on producing printed matter and other types of graphic work which quickly proved to be of high quality and contributed to the successive growth of the company. In 1975, in the midst of crisis, Novotipo made a turn in business by investing in the compact cardboard packaging market in parallel with its production of printed matter and other prestigious and quality graphic work. Due to the growing globalisation of the market, Novotipo´s clear objective was to internationalise. In July 2002 the company embraced a pioneer project in its field by investing its capital stock in a holding made up of two other national graphics companies which produce packaging. This project lead to the merger of the three companies in November 2003. At the time, however, several divergences began to emerge regarding the company´s operational measures. As such, no longer recognising the ideals that originally began this project, in May 2004 Novotipo decided to separate from the group. Customers throughout the years have confirmed its competence, characterised by its modern operational techniques/means and its continuous improvement in human resources. APCER has also confirmed the company´s competence through the certifications it has conferred until now. The company is currently in a prominent position in the business of compact, micro-corrugated and mini-micro cardboard. Its main objective is to provide goods/services that meet the wide-ranged needs of its customers. |
